1) Keep a bouquet in shape longer
Use sugar and vinegar to prolong the beauty of the lovely bouquet that sits in your prettiest vase. It will nourish the flowers and the vinegar will fight bacteria that could affect the health of the plants. Put three tablespoons of vinegar and two tablespoons of vinegar in a liter of water.
2) Against parasitic worms in the garden
If your plants aren’t as strong as they used to be and you notice that the roots have knots or round lumps, they may be attacked by nematodes. Sprinkle the soil with sugar to keep the worms away while increasing the organic matter content of the soil. Count 2 kg for 25 m² of soil.
3) To clean ultra-dirty hands
If your hands are full of grease or sporting paint stains, we wouldn’t wish good luck on removing it, but rather have some sugar on hand. Mix it with 50/50 olive oil and carefully rub your hands with it. The oil is great for destroying stains and the sugar will help with its abrasive grit. Your hands will have no choice but to be clean and soft!
4) Trap flies without toxic ingredients with sugar
Mix 500 ml of milk with 115 g of sugar and 60 g of ground black pepper. For 10 minutes, reduce the mixture over low heat, making sure to stir. Pour the mixture into containers and place them in strategic locations. The fish will be attracted to the mixture and come and drown in it!
5) Scare away cockroaches
To make them leave, mix equal parts sugar and bicarbonate. While the former will attract them irreparably, the latter will kill them. Sprinkle it in key areas of the house where you notice an infestation. Repeat often to be effective and to prevent their return. Be careful if you have children or animals, they must not ingest this mixture.
