On the Internet or in garden centers there are beds, plants, garden furniture and decoration for every taste, but they often cost a lot of money. If you buy everything new, creating and maintaining a large garden can quickly become expensive.
But it doesn’t have to be: You can design your garden even with little money. In the following article, we’ll show you some tips and ideas on how to do it.
Designing a garden with little money: Cuttings and cuttings
Flowers and shrubs from the specialized trade are often expensive. Ask friends and acquaintances instead: Perhaps someone would like to give you a few cuttings and cuttings, which you then simply put in the ground with you. Currant and gooseberry are good examples – you can cut 20-centimeter-long cuttings from them in the fall and simply stick them as deep as possible into the ground. They will then sprout fresh the next spring.

Tip: If you have a broken wheelbarrow or watering can, you do not have to dispose of it immediately. Instead, you can use it as a mini-bed, fill it with soil and plant it (see cover picture).

Whether it’s a garden bench, small table, Hollywood swing or deck chair – you can design your garden with furniture on a budget. Just look around for second-hand furniture. For this, a visit to a flea market is worthwhile, but also in Facebook groups and on eBay classifieds often find cheap treasures. Here are a few more tips:
